Step by Step Centre provides all age (3-20) special education for children who have mild to moderate educational needs including those on the autistic spectrum. Our therapy team works collaboratively with teachers to meet the needs of the students in an integrated way. Due to expansion, we are now looking to fill the following full-time openings:
Special Educator
The person in this position is responsible for overseeing the preparation and execution of IEPs for students with special needs. The Learning Specialist will have an instructional role.
Self-Contained Special Education Teacher
Minimum 3-year experience and a master’s degree required. Immediate start.
Occupational Therapist
Minimum 3-year experience and a master’s degree required. Immediate start. Experience of sensory integration difficulties, managing challenging behavior is essential. A willingness to deliver training for education staff is also a key requirement.
Senior Speech and Language Pathologist
Minimum 5-year experience and a master’s degree required. Start date Sept. 2017
Speech and Language Pathologist
Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3-year experience. Immediate start.
Assistant Teacher
English speaking with experience working in a special needs school.
Arabic Speaking Candidates
We are looking to fill the following full-time openings for Arabic speaking candidates :
> Arabic Speech and Language Pathologist
Preferably Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3-year experience.
> Front Desk Admin
Preferably Arabic & English speaking with experience working in a special needs school
